How long is therapy?

Each session is typically 45-60 minutes. Please note, however, that the treatment process is individualized, so the length of treatment  will often vary based on presenting concerns and the goals of the individual. Typically, there are more frequent sessions in the beginning.

The first session is an assessment that works to establish a diagnosis and trajectory of treatment. Be prepared to be as open and honest as possible in order to receive the most accurate treatment.

Yes. We participate in Telehealth and use HIPAA compliant platforms to protect your privacy.

How should I prepare for my first session?

Bring all of your intake documents, sent by the provider. We encourage you to make a list of symptoms and concerns, as well as pertinent information about personal history and your physical, spiritual, emotional state.

How do I make progress in therapy?

Progress begins with identifying your concerns and goals. We can only help with what you are able to acknowledge. Seek to incorporate what you’re learning outside of sessions.
